As an experienced construction litigation attorney, Emil is skilled in managing complex legal challenges. During his career, he has prepared for and participated in a high-stakes, 4-month jury trial in California Superior Court, dealing with construction defects and delays involving a $10 million controversy. His responsibilities encompassed drafting comprehensive legal documents such as complaints, demand letters, mechanic’s liens, motions, settlement agreements, and handling various aspects of discovery.
Before transitioning to an attorney role, Emil accrued 15 years of experience as a construction litigation paralegal. His tenure as a paralegal included leading roles in multiple jury trials, arbitrations, and claims before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. His expertise includes analyzing project records, organizing trial and arbitration exhibits, drafting subpoenas, discovery answers, and research memorandums, as well as overseeing the entire discovery process.
Emil earned his Juris Doctor in December 2014 from Seattle University School of Law. Notably, he completed this 40-month nighttime program while working full-time as a litigation paralegal. Prior to law school, he graduated Cum Laude from Seattle Pacific University in June 2006 with a B.A. in Business Administration.
Throughout his career, Emil has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to excellence in the field of construction litigation. He brings a wealth of experience to his role at The Green Law Group and is looking forward to advancing the interests of our clients.
